Vintage Peruvian Frazadas: New Collection

We source our vintage frazadas from small villages in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Frazadas were traditionally made for warmth in these cold regions, and used as both rugs and blankets. Spectacular weaving and dyeing techniques have been passed down through the hands of artisans,  over the centuries.

As handmade vintage textiles, each frazada may show signs of wear, such as mending, irregularities  or discolorations. We feel this does not in any way detract from their value as one of a kind treasures full of history and charm!
